About Dancethon
Dancethon has an important mission: “Make it easy and enjoyable for every dancer around the world to find the next event, where they will create the best dancing memories of their lives”. Founded in 2024, this is a start to an exciting journey towards the best website for dance events!
Our Founder
Sandra has always loved dancing, starting with Ballroom & Latin-American dances, Salsa or Bachata. But it wasn’t until she was introduced to Brazilian Zouk in 2016, when she realised how important a dance community is. Since then, she has attended many Zouk events around the world, ran her Brazilian Zouk school in Canterbury, UK and created the greatest friendships and memories. Her heart is now fully stolen by this dance.
“I have always had the worst FOMO when I realised there was an amazing event going on and I didn’t know about it. I have always thought that we need a simple one-stop-shop where we will find all the events, see what they are all about and ensure I get in in time! That’s why Dancethon has been my project for a very long time and I am thrilled to officially share it with the whole dance community. Everyone will have a chance to contribute to this website, but most importantly, enjoy the events.”
Future

We are starting with Brazilian Zouk, but we are looking to add more styles in the future + various other features. Keep your eyes peeled 🙂
